Khowai, Tripura, 17th of June, 2025 : With the initiative of Tripura State AIDS Control Society One Day HIV/AIDS Awareness Workshop was organized at New Town Hall, Khowai, Tripura on Tuesday (17th June, 2025). In the In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Pijush Kanti Chowdhury, President, Sports & Cultural Standing Committee inaugurated the events. Addressing at the one-day HIV/AIDS awareness workshop Pijush Kanti Chowdhury, President, Sports & Cultural Standing Committee said it is very important to increase social awareness to prevent AIDS. Only the collective efforts of people from all of life can prevent this disease. At the end of the event, an open quiz competition was held with the representatives present on HIV AIDS.
AIDS Control Officer of Khowai District Raj Kishore Debbarma delivered a welcome address at the inaugural session of One Day HIV/AIDS Awareness Workshop. Amidst The Other Distinguished Dignitaries there were Nibas Kanti Saha, Vice Chairman of Khowai Municipal Council, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Narcotics Department in Khowai District Ranga Dulal Debbarma, Joint Director of the Tripura State AIDS Control Society (TSACS) Subhrajit Bhattacharjee and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
