Agartala, Tripura, 20th of July 2025 : Senior Journalist and News Editor of Dainik Sambad News Paper Pradip Datta Bhowmik passed away at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in New Delhi on Sunday (20th July, 2025) at around 3:45pm. He breathed his last during treatment in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (IIMS) hospital.
Agartala Press Club Deeply Condoles the sudden demise of Senior Journalist and News Editor of Dainik Sambad News Paper Pradip Datta Bhowmik. Senior Journalist Pradip Datta Bhowmik, senior member of the Agartala Press Club. He was the nephew of the late Bhupen Chandra Bhowmik, the lifeblood of the Dainik Sambad News Paper. He has fulfilled the important responsibility of journalism throughout his life with a dedicated and courageous role. He entered the news at the hands of the late editor Bhupen Chandra Datta Bhowmik. He took over the responsibility of the news editor of the Dainik Sambad from the 90s while he was still alive. He performed that responsibility with great devotion till the day of his death. He participated in any programme of the Agartala Press Club. Whenever he asked for his advice, he helped by giving advice in the right direction. Agartala Press Club Deeply expresses its heart-felt sympathy to his bereaved family and hope that the almighty showers them with resilience and inner strength to quickly recover from the pain they are going through at the moment.
