Agartala, Tripura, 20th of July 2025 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has expressed deep grief over the demise of News Editor of Dainik Sambad News Paper Pradip Datta Bhowmik.
The Chief Minister in his condolence message said that late Senior Journalist and News Editor of Dainik Sambad News Paper Pradip Datta Bhowmik was a dedicated, responsible and skilled journalist. He made significant contributions to the interests of society and democracy through his writings. His untimely demise is an irreparable loss to the world of journalism. The Chief Minister also said, Pradip Datta Bhowmik had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi for quite some time. I was in regular touch with his family on medical matters. He passed away this afternoon, frustrating all the efforts of the doctors.
Senior Journalist and News Editor of Dainik Sambad News Paper Pradip Datta Bhowmik passed away at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in New Delhi on Sunday (20th July, 2025) at around 3:45pm. He breathed his last during treatment in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (IIMS) hospital. He was 72 years old. He was survived by his wife, one son, one daughter and many relatives and well-wishers.
The Chief Minister extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace.
