Teliamura, 8th of February 2024 : Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare minister Ratan Lal Nath laid the foundation stone for Modern Agri Produce Market at Teliamura under Khowai District on Thursday (8th February, 2024).
Addressing at the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony, Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare minister Ratan Lal Nath expressed his hope that this building will play a supporting role in farmers’ welfare in the coming days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to increase the income of farmers and for this, all kinds of facilities are being arranged. Most of the people of the country depend on agriculture. The Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare minister also added that if the farmers prosper, the country will prosper. New schemes have been launched by the Central and State Governments to strengthen the hands of farmers and many more are planned in the coming days.
On the occasion of Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony, Hon’ble MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy said the long-term demands of the farmers and traders of Teliamura sub-division are going to be fulfilled very soon. A multi-dimensional building with modern facilities will be built here. Farmers and cities will develop in the coming days.
In today’s programme apart from the Power, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Saradindu Das Director of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare department, Santos Das, Secretary of Agri Produce Market Committee, Teliamura, Madhusudan Roy Vice Chairman of Teliamura Municipal Council and Merchant Association committee Secretary, President Krishnapada Das and many other dignitaries were present in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
