Sabroom, Tripura, 20th of November 2025 : Secretary Of Panchayat Haradhan Tripura, Magroom ADC Village Under Rupaichari Rural Development (RD) Block, in the Sabroom subdivision of South Tripura District, who was accused of irregular attendance the Panchayat office only two to three days a week.
According to report, on Wednesday (19th November, 2025) the Panchayat secretary arrived at the office at 11:40 a.m., while GRS Ranjan Tripura was still absent. The secretary admitted that the GRS rarely comes to the office, but he could not give a clear explanation regarding his own irregular attendance. He claimed that he had gone to the block office in the morning, but block sources confirmed that he had not visited the blockThe situation is becoming even more complicated as RPM Pankaj Chakraborty, who is responsible for three Panchayats, is unable to remain present every day. Local residents demand immediate administrative intervention to ensure regular attendance.
