With the initiative of Ampi sub zonal authority (TTAADC) a grand mosquito nets distribution programme has been conducted here in the premises of Ampi sub zonal office under Ampinagar RD block in Gomati Tripura today (28th November, 2022). As per the report, mosquito nets have been distributed amongst 22 village committees where 17 mosquito nets availed each V/C in Ampi block. According to Ampi sub zonal chairman Deb Sadhan Jamatia, 374 poor & needy beneficiaries were provided mosquito nets for their family protection from malaria.
As the tendency of malaria is always attacking the hilly regions so, the TTAADC administration has taken this generous initiative to protect the mountaineers. The poor indigenous people were found cheerful to have free mosquito nets from the sub zonal authority. The beneficiaries have appreciated this philanthropic initiative and thanked the TTAADC administration for their good job. Amidst the other participants there were Bajendra Debbarma, zonal office in charge, members of SZDC and local villagers remained present in the programme.
