With the initiative of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Divyodaya) Awareness Camp On Natural Farming under the project “Up scaling of Natural Farming through KVKs” at Nakshiral Community Hall premises under Kalyanpur RD Block on Monday (28th November, 2022).
The State Government and the Central Government have been jointly taking steps to improve the quality of agriculture and farmers. Various awareness camps, workshops, exhibitions etc. are being organized by the Government. One such agricultural awareness camp was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Divyodaya) on today. In this agricultural event, the farmers of different areas display different types of agricultural produced by themselves.
“Natural agriculture should be used for the sake of the environment, for the sake of civilization and above all to maintain biodiversity” said Dr. Manoj Singh Director of KVK. He also said that, all necessary assistance from the department is now being done to emphasize natural farming.
Sabhadhipati Khowai Zila Parishad Joydeb Debbarma, Kalyanpur Block BAC Chairman Indrani Debbarma and many others remained present in the awareness programme. The local people have appreciated the initiative and thanked the officials for their good job.
