An Unidentified Person Was Beaten Up And 1 Person Was Injured.

Khowai 7th of February 2024 : The fire service personnel picked up a man from Cherma area, Khowai in bloody condition and brought him to Khowai District Hospital around 7:30 pm on Wednesday (7th February, 2024). After being brought to Khowai District Hospital, the injured person was identified as Rajesh Munda (38) a mason by profession from Khowai Dhalabil area. According to the details of the incident, Rajesh Munda went to Asharambari. On his way back from driving his scooty around 7:30 pm, somebody beat up Rajesh Munda in Cherma area in the dark of night and threw him on the road. After lying on the road for some time in a bloody state, the locals saw him and informed the fire brigade, who picked up Rajesh Munda and brought him to the Khowai District Hospital.

Afterwards, Rajesh Munda told the doctor of Khowai District Hospital that someone had beaten him in the dark of the night, his nose and mouth were broken, and he was having difficulty in breathing after hitting his chest with a stick or road. The doctor on duty checked and after that critical condition seriously injured Rajesh Munda referred to GBP Hospital, Agartala for better treatment.
