Annual Sports Competition Initiative By Agartala Press Club.

Agartala, 17th of March 2024 : With the initiative of Agartala Press Club the Annual Sports Competition organized in collaboration of Tripura Gramin Bank at  Kshudiram Basu English Medium School ground to the old jail premises on the occasion of 40th anniversary of Agartala Press Club on Sunday (17th March, 2024). Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank has inaugurated the Annual Sports Competition at 11:00 a.m.

Journalists including members of Agartala Press Club and their families participated in the competition. In the Annual Sports competition, sprint, skipping, shuttle run, spoon race, target the ball etc. were held for children and boys and girls above 12 years of age. Among the adults, twenty events have been played including Kick the Ball, Musical Balls, Put on bindi etc.

The contribution of physical instructors of the State Youth Affairs Sports Department and members of the Press Club and the authorities of Kshudiram Basu English Medium School is undeniable in making the annual sports program a success. Each of them has been honored with a commemorative gift by the Press Club. Ramakanta Dey, Secretary of Agartala Press Club, Abhishek Dey, Convener of Sports Sub Committee, thanked all concerned.

Ramakanta Dey, Secretary of Agartala Press Club, Vice President Sajjad Ali, Ranjan Roy, Treasurer of Agartala Press Club, Abhishek Dey, Convener of Sports Sub Committee,  Executive Member Abhishek Debbarma, Joint Secretary Kamal Chowdhury,  Technical Director Suprabhat Debnath and executive committee members and other journalists were present in the Annual Sports Competition. Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, members of Agartala Press Club distributed the prizes them.
