On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Assam Rifles organized celebrations of Teacher’s Day at several schools of Dima Hasao District, Assam and St John’s School Nungba, Noney District, Manipur to honor and appreciate the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping young minds and fostering education in remote areas.
The Teacher’s Day celebrations showcased the commitment of Assam Rifles to education and community development. Teachers from local schools were recognized for their dedication to imparting knowledge and nurturing the future generation. These events provided an opportunity for the soldiers and the local community to express their gratitude to these educators who play a pivotal role in the holistic development of children in these regions. Many games like the balloon race were carried out and other fun activities like a comedy show and skits were also conducted.
Through such initiatives, Assam Rifles continues to strengthen its bond with the community and underscore its commitment to education as a catalyst for progress. A total of approx 80 Teachers, 850 students attended the events at Dima Hasao and Nungba respectively. The celebration was concluded with light refreshments wherein all the teachers expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles.
