Manipur, 25th of May, 2024 : Assam Rifles on 24 May 2024, conducted a Medical Camp at Tribal Market Complex, Nungba, Noney (Manipur). The medical camp was organised in co-ordination with Primary Health Centre (PHC) Nungba.
Due to the ongoing change of weather, monsoon rains and associated health issues, the medical camp was a critical need of the hour for the locals. A total of 350 locals, including 200 women and children were attended to during the event. The attendees came from remote villages of Kekru Naga, Rengpang, Merrylane and Rongdai, in belief of cure and remedy for their medical/health issues. The satisfaction on the faces of children, women and the aged, resonated the humble event, with the medical staff looking after each and every patient with care and compassion.
