Assam Rifles In Tripura Organized Closing Ceremony For First Batch Of “Sentinel Care” Project In Collaboration With NIEDO.

Agartala, 9th of May, 2024 : Assam Rifles in Tripura organized closing ceremony on 07 May to bid farewell and foster community bonding among students of North Eastern States for the first batch of “Sentinel Care” programme in collaboration with National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO).

The NEET coaching classes as part of  programme commenced on 31 December 2023. The MoU for the programme was signed on 27 Sep 2023 between Assam Rifles and NIEDO in the presence of Honourable Chief Minister of Tripura Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha.

A total of 22 bright students from economically weaker section of society and different communities from North Eastern States including 18 from strife torn state, Manipur were selected for undergoing coaching classes for NEET exams. The competitive exam (NEET) was conducted on 05 May 2024.

Assam Rifles organized cultural event as part of  closing ceremony for the students on the theme “Peace & Harmony” with an aim to bring the people of different communities together and exchange ideas/thoughts with each other. The cultural event witnessed traditional songs and dance by students of various tribes of Manipur leaving behind differences and working together for bright future of Manipur.

The cultural event was highly subscribed by local poulance and was filled with cultural extravaganza. The event was also attended by mass communication students from Tripura university. The event concluded with dinner for the attendees.
