Jiribam, Manipur, 3rd of September, 2024 : In its continuous efforts to support the local community, Assam Rifles organized a medical camp at Saikulphai Village, Jiribam District, Manipur on 02 Sep 2024. The camp aimed to meet the healthcare needs of the villagers, especially in the monsoon season.
The medical team of Assam Rifles including one doctor and medical staff provided essential healthcare services, including examinations, treatments and distribution of medicines. Special focus was placed on children, elderly people and expectant mothers. A total of 81 villagers benefited from the medical camp.
This humanitarian effort is part of ‘Assam Rifles’ ongoing initiatives to ease the challenges faced by the local population due to the current security situation. Despite the ongoing security challenges in Jiribam and surrounding areas, Assam Rifles remains dedicated in ensuring peace and stability in the region while providing vital humanitarian assistance to those in need.
