Agartala, Tripura, 19th of September, 2025 : The State Assembly today expressed grief over the killing of 26 civilians, including 25 tourists, in Pahalgam and the tragic crash of an Air India flight to London. Hon’ble Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Ram Prasad Pal, referring to these two incidents, paid tribute to the memory of the deceased and expressed his heartfelt condolences to their bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

on April 22, terrorists attacked tourists visiting a beautiful tourist spot in the Baisaran Valley area of Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people lost their lives in this attack. Terming this incident as a terrible blow to civilization, humanity and India’s sovereignty and secular values, the Tripura Legislative Assembly has strongly condemned this barbaric act of Pakistani-backed terrorists.

In addition, on June 12, a London-bound Air India flight crashed at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, death 241 passengers and 39 others in the vicinity of the airport. The Assembly today paid tribute to the memory of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
