Khowai, 23rd of April, 2024 : With the initiative of Khowai District Election Officer ‘Electoral Awareness based Boat Drive’ As part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) drive, at Chakmaghat Barrage Reservoir under Khowai District on Tuesday (23rd April, 2024). Aimed of the Boating Program was to promote the message “No Voter To Be Left Behind”. The event, attended by both local residents and visitors, emphasized the importance of inclusive voter engagement.
Chandni Chandran, IAS, Khowai District Magistrate & Collector, Khowai District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ramesh Kumar Yadav, Additional District Magistrate Abhijit Chakraborty, and other administrative Officials were present in this event.
Interacting with the media Chandni Chandran, IAS, Khowai District Magistrate & Collector said that this program was organized keeping the target of ‘No Voter Should Be Left Behind’ in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He also added that several such programs have been held in various assembly constituencies of Khowai district ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
