Dharmanagar, Tripura, 22nd of August, 2026 : The BJP leadership of the 56 Dharmanagar Mandal on Saturday expressed its heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha and the state government for the decision to provide a 100% subsidy to reduce the financial burden of increased electricity bills on ordinary consumers.
A rally was organized in Dharmanagar to express appreciation for the government’s decision. Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, BJP North District General Secretary Rupali Adhikari, Dharmanagar Mandal President Shyamal Nath, along with several senior party leaders, workers and supporters, participated in the programme.Addressing the gathering, BJP leaders described the government’s decision as an important and welfare-oriented step taken in the interest of the common people. They said that the increased electricity bills over the past several months had created considerable concern and financial pressure among consumers, and the subsidy decision would provide significant relief.

They added that the decision to provide 100% subsidy was another example of the state government’s efforts under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha to stand by the people through various welfare-oriented initiatives.The BJP leadership conveyed the message of “A government of the people, standing with the people” and assured that the government and party leadership would continue to work actively toward resolving issues affecting the public.
