Parents Demand Immediate Teachers In School.

Amarpur, Tripura, 22nd of August 2026 : The parents of Sonachara SB school located in Ekjancherra VC under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura have raised strong allegation over the mismanagement of their Village school for last several years. The local guardians and SMC committee members have fingered to the concerned school authority for the worse academic condition of the school. SMC has appealed many times for teachers appointment but no initiative is being taken till the date.

The primary section has only one teacher who maintains classes I to V where more than 50 students he himself alone. On the other hand, in noon section there are 4 teachers; incharge Rakesh Das remains engaged with BLO or other official works. He is often absent in the school. Among 4 teachers in noon section 1 teacher is affiliated with MDM and the rest 2 teachers are imparting teaching in the classes with most difficulties. Due to shortage of teachers in the school students are depriving from availing quality education. Due to deficiency of teachers teaching management in both sections are facing acute obstacle to maintain the school properly.

Local people have alleged that the school does not have science and math teachers to impart teaching over the subjects of mathematics & science in both sections primary and noon. Allegation has been raised that if parents go to school for collecting school certificate, T.C or other requirement they do not find school incharge present in the school. “To witness the worse school academic circumstance villagers are thinking to take their children away to other school from here”, said one villager. Local sources said that school initiating time is 8 am but teachers arrive 10 O’clock. In this situation students are observing disorder in the school management.

According to the SMC committee, teachers requirment applications have been submitted to the concerned school inspectorate several times but due to negligence of the authority no initiative has been taken yet. As the classes of mathematics and science are not available for the students in last two years in the school local indigenous parents have been found in great wrath over the concerned authority. The school needs classroom maintenance also. Some classrooms are really risky, walls have been damaged.

One of the local guardians said, “As the poor parents are not able to send their children to better school in far off places we are expecting to create a genuine and students favourable school in our area but the responsible education authority does not take any initiative or assist us to make the school better. We are in depression for our children future.”  The concerned education departmental officials must enquire the status of the school and take immediate initiative to fullfill the demand of the deprived villagers.
