Ampi, Tripura, 16th of July 2026 : With the initiative to Ompi CHC in collaboration with TRLM, Ompi block a mega block level specialist health camp has been organized here in Ompi Community Health Centre, Amarpur in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of medical officials, Asha workers, block administrators and local people have gathered in the programme venue. In presence of many dignitaries Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia has Inaugurated the event.
As per the report, to avail free specialist health camp free facilities a large number of people were buzzing in the medical camp. To handle the medical facility requirements of the gathering total eight doctors were found busy to execute the service management. According to the official report, total 196 patients (male- 97 and female- 99) have availed free medical service through this mega block level health camp. Sources said, medical specialists have generated good achievement, NCD- 69, Gynecology-20, medicines-40, Dental- 6, X-Ray- 10.
Addressing the programme participants MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia has said, “Health is precious for us. To conquer our life struggle sound body and mind is required. We fall sick for our ignorance and negligence; we should maintain cleanliness and proper diet. If we once fell in deadly sickness then it takes much time to be recovered. We should keep it mind that prevention is better than cure. Our dearth health awareness leads us into sickness”
Amidst the other distinguished attendees there were Kamal Kalai, Ampi MDC, Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Ampi block chairman, Milan Bhakta Jamatia, Ompi CHC in-charge, Ruatfela Darlong, Ompi BDO and many others remained present in the programme.
