

With the initiative of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) Agartala branch organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at AGMC & GBP hospital on Sunday (19th March, 2023).
“It is necessary to maintain the balance between the demand and supply of blood. For this, more blood donation camps should be organized in different parts of the state”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inaugural ceremony of the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at AGMC & GBP hospital today. The Chief Minister urged the people of the state to donate more blood.
The Chief Minister was felicitated on the occasion by the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) Agartala branch. As per the report, around sixty five donors donated blood at the camp. The Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) Agartala branch President Dr. Subhasish Dam and Secretary Dr. Tushar Majumder was also present. Secretary of the Health Department Dr. Debasish Basu, Mission Director of National Health Mission Tripura branch, Subhashish Das, Director of Health Dr. Subhashish Debbarma, Medical Superintendent of AGMC & GBP Hospital Dr. Sanjib Debbarma and other dignitaries were present at the blood donation programme.
