Agartala, 12th of May, 2024 : With the initiative of Society of Voluntary Blood Donors organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) Hospital Blood Bank, Agartala on Sunday (12th May, 2024). The Society of Voluntary Blood Donors Voluntary Blood Donation Camp has been organized on the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Society of Voluntary Blood Donors organization today.
Aiming to fulfill the crisis of blood in Tripura blood donation camps are going on across the state to meet the shortage of blood. As a part of that, blood donation camps are being organized by Government and Non-Government organizations. About 55 people have donated blood in the said camp out of which 3 female members have donated blood. In this camp, the members donated blood through enthusiasm and initiative.
Secretary of Society Pranab Banik, members of Society and many other dignitaries were present in the blood donation programme. Pranab Banik, Secretary of the society expressed gratitude and greetings to the members of various organizations, all the Doctors, Nurses and officials of IGM Blood Bank and all the friends of the press media who came to this camp.
