Brijesh Pandey’s Leadership Improving The Performance Of World Bank Funded TRESP Project .

Agartala, Tripura, 27th of February, 2025 : Under the Chairmanship of Secretary ,Tribal Welfare Sri Brijesh Pandey ,the World Bank funded Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project ( TRESP) moving forward .Recently the Executive Committee meeting held at State guest house wherein the Secretary has taken so many productive decisions for employee wellbeing that invites happiness among TRESP employees .Most importantly 3%salary increment on annual basis and 10 days medical leave approved by the EC that brings happiness among employees .A total of 358 crore budget of the World Bank funded project approved by the Executive Committee (EC) for 2025-26 .

Under the positive direction of Sri Brijesh pandey and Director Subhasis Das ,the state project Management unit( PMU) has initiated a workshop on Monitoring Learning and Evaluation ( MLE) framework of World Bank funded TRESP .The programme will continue for 3 days ,27th ,28th feb and 1st March .A total of 150 employees of TRESP at all levels right from state ,district and block level will participate in the said workshop .The programme is facilitated by the Technical support Agency ( TSA) Deloitte .From the State PMU ,Training Specialist ,Abdur Rahman Choudhury ,coordinating the programme at SIPARD .

TRESP is a multi- sectoral project working for strengthening public service delivery mechanisms involving educational support services ,livelihood ,roads & connectivity in tribal areas of Tripura .A total 106 cr.already invested by the Government of Tripura for implementation of TRESP .In this connection ,a strong monitoring and evaluation mechanism needs to be ready and for that with Deloitte ,TRESP has initiated the training programme under zestful leadership of Director ,Tribal welfare ,Subhasis Das .
