Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of May 2025 : On 21st May 2025 at about 0605 hrs, vigilant BSF troops deployed in the area of BOP Manu under district West Tripura apprehended 09 BD nationals while they were trying to illegally cross over to Bangladesh. Apprehended BD nationals were living and employed at Agartala since last 1-2 years .
On 21st May 2025 on specific information of BSF, a joint operation with PS Srinagar was carried out by troops of BOP Srinagar at Village Krishnanagar under PS Srinagar, District South Tripura and successfully seized contrabands Rs. 17 lakhs. In the same area in another joint operation foreign manufactured Cigarettes worth Rs. 33 lakhs seized.
In various operation on 22nd May 2025 BSF troops successfully rescued 40 Nos cattle worth Rs. 11,44,000/-
BSF has intensified vigil on border to prevent trans border crime.
