Agartala, Tripura, 14th of August 2024 : On 13 Aug 2024 acting on specific input, 02 Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended in joint operation of BSF and PS Sabroom while they were attempting to enter Indian territory through the area of BOP Ghagrabasti under PS Sabroom of South Tripura District.
In another operation ,on the intervening night of 13th and 14th Aug 2024 on specific input BSF troops apprehended 01 BD national when he was trying to enter Indian territory through the area of BOP Chhotakhil under PS Sabroom of South Tripura District .
In a separate joint operation, a Mobile Check Post laid by BSF troops and team of PS Airport detained 02 Indian nationals and seized 387 small packets of suspected Brown sugar from their possession.
