Agartala, Tripura, 10th of June, 2025 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha distributes Clothes on the eve of 32nd annual foundation day of Shiv Kali Mandir at Ker Chowmuhani, Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday (10th June, 2025).
Addressing at the event Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that standing by people’s side in their problems is true religion. Love and affection for each other is the main message of religion. The current Government of the State is also always trying to solve the basic problems of the people. The Chief Minister said, with the end of atheism, an environment of theism is now being observed in society. The Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is taking a responsible role in protecting and restoring the country’s culture, heritage and traditions.
“The present Government of the State is also working in that direction. Various plans have been taken to showcase the Mata Tripureshwari Temple in Udaipur to the world. Along with this, sincere efforts are also being made to protect the culture of the castes and tribes. In this context, the Chief Minister said that the present central and state governments are committed to maintaining peace in the state.”, Chief Minister added.
The Chief Minister also added that many agreements have already been signed in the North-East to maintain peace and harmony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Act East Policy has accelerated the progress of the North-East. The development of the North-East is today appreciated across the country. The Chief Minister said that Ker Puja was once performed at this Ker Chowmuhani. Later, a temple was established here. In that sense, this temple has historical importance. The Chief Minister praised the temple authorities for this benevolent initiative today.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries participants there were Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, eminent lawyer Kalyan Bhattachjjtarjee, eminent journalist Debashish Bhattacharjee and may other distinguished dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony today.
