Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates Panchayat Resource Center, Virtual Inauguration Of 40 Development Projects & Foundation Stone Laying Of 4 New Projects.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 9th of April 2025 : With the initiative of State Government of Tripura inauguration ceremony, Foundation stone ceremony organized at Dharmanagar, North Tripura on Friday (9th April, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Panchayat Resource center, Virtual Inauguration of 40 Development projects and laid the foundation stone of 4 new projects.

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that various developmental works are being implemented in the state under the policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas. Our state Tripura is moving forward. The state government’s goal is to build a better Tripura. Negative mentality, a section of the state cannot see the development of the state. The State Government is working with a positive mentality.

“The Current Government is working with importance for the development of the tribals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also taken various initiatives for the development of the tribals. The Chief Minister said that a new scheme called the Chief Minister’s Crop Shyamla Yojana has been taken in this year’s budget. This scheme will help in the production of high-yielding crops.The project will cost Rs 5 crore. Under the Chief Minister’s Rubber Mission, rubber will be cultivated on 20,745 hectares of land in the state. 10 rubber processing plants will be constructed. 100-bed 3 tribal hostels will be constructed and 50-bed 7 tribal hostels will be newly established.”, Chief Minister added.

“A scheme called the Chief Minister’s Balika Samridhi Yojana (BSY) has been launched. In this project, Rs 50,000 will be invested for every girl child belonging to the Antyodaya family permanently residing in Tripura. That money can be withdrawn in cash after the age of 18. The current financial year, coaching centers for science and English will be opened in every subdivision of the state. 100 students of class XI and XII will be able to take coaching in these coaching centers. Three new degree colleges will be established in the state. A 100-bed super specialty eye hospital will be built.”, Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister also added that the number of self-help groups has also increased a lot than before. Earlier, there were around 4,000 self-help groups, which are now around 56,000. They are being given revolving funds. The average per capita income of the state has also increased. The Chief Minister called for awareness about drug addiction and said that a mass movement should be developed so that the youth does not fall into addiction.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, MLA Jadab Lal Nath, Social activists Kajal Kumar Das, Bikash Nath, North Tripura District Magistrate & Collector Chandni Chandran and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony. Sabhadhipati of North Tripura Zilla Parishad Aparna Nath presided over the program and concluded with a vote of thanks.
