Agartala, Tripura, 9th of April 2025 : A training on livestock extension services for the pashu Sakhis is ongoing at Lefunga RD Block .Around 31Sakhis from Hezamara & Lefunga RD block has joined the training programme at Lefunga. The program started on 8th April . Logistic facility provided by the BDO, Lefunga and ARDD officers at local level taking the training sessions on day to day basis . Official from Technical Support Agency JK Trust also involved in the training management. Block team of TRESP led by Block project Manager Tamalini Debbarma taking care of the entire Training programme. From West tripura district team Dr.Debolina De , District Manager, livestock also looking into the knowledge management aspects in the training.
A team comprised of training specialist Abdur Rahman Choudhury and Young professional Sanjay Debbarma visited the training venue and interacted with the pashu Sakhis regarding different aspects of training delivery mechanism. They also met the block team of TRESP and TRLM and discussed about qualitative aspects of the training for futuristic outcome. This training is for 20 days and will be continued phase by phase in four separate modules .
These sort of training initiative of the pashu Sakhis will support the Producer groups in the path of their development and growth.
