Agartala, Tripura, 9th of August, 2026 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha held a high-level meeting to discuss various matters related to the Power Department at Secretariat, Agartala, Tripura on Saturday (8th August, 2026).
The Chief Minister reviewed various aspects of the state’s power sector, focusing on strengthening electricity infrastructure and improving the quality and reliability of power services. The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of ongoing Power Department initiatives and emphasized the need for effective coordination and timely action on pending matters.
The meeting also reviewed various issues concerning the maintenance and repair of National Highways and PWD roads across the state. Emphasis was placed on ensuring timely maintenance, addressing damaged road stretches, and improving overall road connectivity and infrastructure.
Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Hon’ble Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha, senior officials of the State Government and Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) and many others remained present in the event.
