Teliamura, 6th April, 2024 : Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy took steps to keep the electricity system uninterrupted and active in Teliamura area. At the beginning of the season, the heat, in the few days, common people are suffering from power outage. The importance of the matter was realized by the local MLA and Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy.

She took necessary steps to provide uninterrupted electricity service to these people. On Saturday, the MLA held an emergency meeting with all the senior managers of Division 1 and Division 2 of Teliamura Power Department, line man of DJM Power Department. The meeting was held at Baramura Cafeteria in Teliamura on Saturday at 1 pm. He came to know about the problems due to power outage and what to do.

Necessary steps are taken to solve the problems that arise in this meeting. It was from this meeting that the Kalyani Roy informed the state power minister Ratan Lal Nath about the problem. The minister responded to her call and took immediate action to resolve the problem, said MLA Kalyani Saha Roy. She said that lack of night time staff and vehicle problems etc. were solved with the help of the minister. This facility is being provided from today. Also other problems will be solved in the future. Teliamura residents do not have to face the problem of electricity during hot nights. Moreover, even if there is a power cut somewhere during the night, there will be a system of vehicles to provide the necessary staff and services. So that there is no problem of power restoration during the night.

In today’s meeting apart from the MLA, Former Chairman of Teliamura Municipal Council Nitin Kumar Saha, Senior officials of Division 1 and Division 2 Electricity Department and many others remained present in the meeting.
