Khowai, 6th Of April, 2024 : Police is fully committed to eradicating the menace of drugs from Tripura making “Tripura – A Drug-Free State”.
On the basis of secret information, Khowai Police has seized 50 Grams of heroin along with about ₹90,000 and 4 mobile phones in Bonkar area under Khowai Police Station in Khowai District.
Accordingly, a large contingent of police and central forces Under the supervision of the Khowai Sub-Divisional Police Officer Pushan Kanti Majumder, Subir Malakar OC of Khowai Police Station and Khowai Police Station Second OC Jugal Tripura conducted the operation. The police able to arrest a notorious heroin named Kajal Tanti resident of Bankar area under Khowai District. It should be noted that this success of the police in view of the Lok Sabha elections really deserves praise.
