Civil Services Day 2023 celebrated at Pragna Bhawan, Agartala on Friday (28th April, 2023).
“Successful implementation of Government development programmes depends on Government officials. Government officials also play an important role in ensuring people’s rights. The employees of the State are very responsible. Due to this responsible attitude, it is possible to implement various public welfare projects of the Government earlier. Everyone should work together as a family”, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at the Civil Services Day programme.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said the theme of the Civil Services Day 2023 is titled “Viksit Bharat”. This is very significant. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken initiatives to build a bright image of India to the world. Various programmes are being developed for that purpose. The Chief Minister also added that the future of Tripura is very bright in the coming days. He highlighted public welfare-oriented projects such as Good Governance in every household through which it has been possible to reach the last person of the society with Government benefits. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha awarded the Civil Services Officers for their outstanding performance in various fields.
Dr. Sandeep R. Rathod, Special Secretary delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Chief Secretary J. K. Sinha also spoke on the occasion. K.S Shetty, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF), Puneet Agarwal, Principal Secretary. On the occasion, Secretary Abhishek Singh presented a video ‘Unlocking Tripura 2030’ and discussed in detail about it. Department’s Special Secretary A.K Bhattacharjee has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.
