Agartala, Tripura, 12th of May, 2026 : A programme was organized at Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya on the occasion of the visit of the Commanding Officer of 13 Tripura Battalion NCC on Monday (11th May, 2026). The programme began with a Guard of Honour presented by the NCC cadets of the college, followed by a welcome address by ANO Lt. (Dr.) Prasanta Deb.
The cadets also presented a cultural programme in the form of group song and dance. During the programme, the first NCC newsletter of the college was inaugurated by Commanding Officer Col. Navpreet Singh Baath.
Addressing the cadets, the Commanding Officer spoke on “Operation Sindoor” and motivated the students to become responsible citizens and prepare themselves for successful careers. The programme concluded with the flagging off of a Road Safety Rally to spread awareness on traffic rules and safe driving practices.
A total of 50 NCC cadets participated in the programme along with teachers and students of the college.
