With the initiative of Gomati district Congress Committee a protest rally has been organized at Udaipur on Friday (6th January, 2023). Demanding arrest to all miscreants those who attacked setting fire to shops of opposition supporters, vandalized the party office and withdrawing false cases.
The protest march started from Jamtala District Congress Bhavan and passed through PS Corner, Center Road, Newton Road and ended in front of Radha Kishorepur Police Station. At the end, the supporters of the Congress started protesting by surrounding the Radha Kishorepur Police Station. A delegation of six members led by District Congress President Titan Pal, Congress leader Milan Kar, Rajib Samaddar submitted a memorandum to Babul Das, OC of Radha Kishorepur Police Station, demanding five points.
Babul Das, OC of Radha Kishorepur Police Station, assured the Congress activists that the culprits would be arrested and punished soon. The presence of Congress activists in this protest march today is noteworthy.
