Agartala, 17th of March 2024 : The CPI(M)-led Left Front announced candidate for the Tripura East Lok Sabha seat (ST) and By-election through press conference on Sunday (17th March, 2024). The CPI(M)-led Left Front decided to support the Congress in the other seat–Tripura West Parliamentary Constituency. In today’s Press Conference CPI(M) Tripura State Committee Secretary Jitendra Chaudhury, Left Front convenor Narayan Kar and other leaders were present.
The CPI(M) led Left Front announced the name of candidate for the By-election of Ramnagar-7 Assembly constituency at Press Conference today.
The Congress fielded state president Asish Kumar Saha in Tripura West Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency. CPI(M)-led Left Front support the Congress in the Tripura West Parliamentary Constituency.
Former CPI(M) MLA Rajendra Reang will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Tripura East.
Ratan Das will contest the By-election from Ramnagar-7 Assembly Constituency.
Tripura will vote for the Tripura West Seat on April 19 in the first Phase and vote for the Tripura East Seat on April 26 in the Second Phase.
By-elections in Ramnagar-7 Assembly Constituency will be held on (Friday) 19th April, 2024 next.
