Teliamura, Tripura, 22nd of November, 2024 : Claiming to even item charter demands implementation immediately The Communist Party of India (Marxist) of Teliamura Sub-divisional Committee has submitted memorandum to Block Development Officer (BDO) today (22nd November, 2024). On this occasion a large number of CPIM supporters men, women and youngsters have assembled here in Teliamura and raised voice over their demands. The CPIM activists have conducted mass rally where long queues have been noticed here on Teliamura road in Teliamura .
The Seven demands are – (1) Initiatives should be taken to provide appropriate support prices for the crops produced by farmers. The working day and wages rate should be increased in the MGN Reg. (2) The four new labor codes adopted by the central government should be repealed. (3) the flood affected peoples should be given appropriate government assistance, rising above the factionalism. 4) Administrative initiatives should be taken to maintain law and order in the state, provide security to women, and punish drug dealers severely. (5) Taking an effective role in employment of the unemployed. (6) Administrative initiatives should be taken to repair roads in various areas, supply purified drinking water, provide uninterrupted power service, and prepare a list of eligible beneficiaries in the recent PMAY projects, rising above the factionalism. (7) Taking effective steps to price hike of essential commodities
Among the active participants there were CPI(M) Central Committee Member Rama Das, Teliamura Sub-subdivisional Committee Secretary Hemanta Kumar Jamatia, State Committee Member Manindra Chandra Das, Teliamura Sub-divisional Committee – Subhash Nath, Subir Sen, Shankar Das, Himan Roy, Arun Debbarma, Gayatri Dutta and many others remained present in the programme.
