BSF Tripura contributes to countrywide campaign “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” of Govt of India, which focuses on citizens’ participation, by organising “BSF Half Marathon” an open event for participation of civil public as well as Force personnel with the Motto of “Fit Freedom Run-Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-2021”.
The aim of organising the above event is to make fitness an integral part of our daily lives with the mission to bring about behavioural changes and move towards a more physically active lifestyle.
On 02nd Oct 2021 at about 0600 hrs, ‘BSF Half Marathon’ will be flagged off by Sh. Susanta Kumar Nath, IPS, Inspector General at Frontier HQ BSF Salbagan Agartala(Main Gate No. 01).The event will terminate at Football Stadium, BSF Campus Salbagan (Agartala).
‘BSF Half Marathon’ involves running 21.075 Kms (13 Miles 192.5 yards),passing through different locations i.e. Hatipara to Litchu Bagan Chowk (Airport Road) to Narayan Chowk to Narsinger Market to Durgabari (T-Junction) to Gandhigram Market to BSF Gate No. 04 and will finish at Football Stadium, BSF Campus Salbagan.
The registration for participation by the civilians and service personnel in the event is ‘ON’ and can be done online (https://forms.gle/xCBs8xt7HpsK95rMA) as well as offline at BSF Campus Main Gate No. 01, Salbagan, Agartala 799012. The registration process will close at 1600hrs (04.00 PM)on 01st Oct 2021.
