The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has extended the submission deadline for Stage II of the Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge to 22 October 2026, giving eligible youth more time to submit their essays for participation in VBYLD 2027.
Youth who have not yet submitted their essays are encouraged to do so by 22 October 2026. The extension gives eligible participants more time to submit their essays and encourages wider participation in this national initiative.
The Ministry has also requested State Governments and Union Territory administrations to widely share the revised deadline with eligible youth and to ensure timely communication with district authorities and other stakeholders.
Through VBYLD 2027, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports aims to foster youth participation, leadership, and innovation, providing young people with a platform to contribute meaningfully to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
