Demanding Road Renovation Drivers Staged Road Blockade. 

Demanding immediate road renovation of Amarpur-Gandhatwisa road, Amarpur- Udaipur road as well as Amarpur-Ampi road the vehicle drivers of Amarpur subdivision have staged road blockade in several seperate locations of the subdivision. The workers of Amarpur auto drivers unit has blocked the road in Amarpur town Rangkang area to demand road reform without any delay. Meanwhile, the workers of the union blocked such roads at three separate places in the sub-division, as a result, the traffic movement in the entire Amarpur sub-division came to a standstill. It is known from the drivers of the subdivision that for last many years Amarpur Jatanbari road and Amarpur-Teliamura road along with the poor condition of Udaipur-Amarpur road local drivers are in great risk. Being despair over the melancholic road condition all drivers have staged this road blockade. Being informed the SDM Prasanta Badal Negi and other officials of Amar Pur have arrived to the spots and given words to the blockers for immediate maintenance and then the blockades have been removed. Later on a crucial meeting amidst the SDM, drivers unit as well as NHIDCL officials has been organized in SDM office conference hall where the drivers unit told that if the concerned authority does not take quick initiative then larger movement will be created.
