Detention Of Five Female Persons With 48 Kg Ganja At Agartala Railway Station.

On 1st August, 2023 at 08.00 hrs on the basis of information IPF Deepak  Dutta, ASI Gautam Paul  with GRP Ladies and RPF staff   apprehended  Five female persons namely 1. Meena Begum age 50 yrs  2. Mamata Begum age 19 yrs with one baby aged 11 Months, both local resident of Bisalgarh of Sepahijala, Tripura 3.Khusbu Kumari age 19 yrs  4. Indu Devi,  25 yrs and 5. Neha Kumari aged 22 yrs all are from Patna Bihar, they   came to board in T.No.13174 Dn  Kanchanjangha Express for AGTL  to  Kishanganj. The  female person’s from Patna  of  Bihar came to AGTL  on 28th July, 23 by Train No. 13173 up K.J. Exp. stayed  at  the resident of Meena Begum at Bishalgarh for  three days,  today  they came to AGTL with  48 kg  ganja with planning to go up to Kishanganj by above Train and the by local train to Patna and sell the ganja to local receiver. The apprehended female persons with  Ganja   handed over to GRP/AGTL  for legal action. The value  of the  ganja shall be Rs.480000 (approx.)
