Dharmanagar, 6th of November 2023 : A total of 13 people, including seven women and six children, were arrested by the police of Dharmanagar police station today.
As per the report, Gaza traders are now using women and children for trade. Gaza traders continue to try to send women and children out of the state by making small packets and tying marijuana to their bodies. Seven women came to Dharmanagar by morning train from Agartala on Monday. On reaching Dharmanagar they go to ISBT from there by car they have to go abroad by road. People reported their suspicious movement to Dharmanagar police station. Police forces from Dharmanagar police station brought women police with them and nabbed those women who were loitering suspiciously at ISBT and brought them Dharmanagar police station for questioning. Seven women Dulia Devi aged 25, Gunjan Devi aged 25, Parvati Devi aged 30, Asha Kumari aged 25, Manupati Devi aged 35, Rinku Devi aged 25 and Pinaki Devi aged 25 all hail from Bihar state. They have six children of various ages ranging from one and a half months to three months old.
Dharmanagar police station OC Nandugopal Dey said that a total of 12 kg of ganja was found after body search. They are currently kept in Dharmanagar police station. Later appropriate action will be taken against them as per law.
