Agartala, Tripura, 20th of June, 2025 : The Department of commerce, Ramthakur College, Agartala in association with RUDSETI, Agartala has organised an event on Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Awareness camp today at Ramthakur College. As many as 70 students of the college have attended the programme.
The programme has been inaugurated by Dr. Papri Das, Principal of the college in presence of Dr. Arjun Gope, Associate Professor, Department of commerce. Among the key speakers Sri. Siddhartha Khan, Director RUDSET Institute, Agartala and Ms. Rashmi Baidya, Sr.Faculty of RUDSETI were remain present in the programme.The speakers have sensitized the students about the scope of entrepreneurship development, role of skill development training in developing potential entrepreneurs. They also discussed about different types of skill development training offered by various institutions in order to enhance the capacity of the youths. Speakers also stressed on limitation of Govt. jobs and encouraged the participants for opting entrepreneurship as an alternative means for employment generation.
The Director of RUDSETI elaborated the issues related to banking awareness, precautions related to financial transactions,formalities associated with access to govt.facilities, Govt. schemes for business development etc. The programme has opened a scope for greater collaboration among Skill development training Institutes & general degree College and the students can avail the facilities of training in between the gaps of their general education .
