Ampi, Tripura, 20th of June 2025 : To generate durable financial income source for the JFMC SHG beneficiaries Ampi forest range authority has implemented good job here in different VCs under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura. In the financial year 2024-25 Ampi forest range has provided Checkdam to JFMC SHG here in Baishyamani Para VC and Melsi VC. To promote fish cultivation in those dams the concerned forest authority has provided awareness tips and training to those beneficiaries .
As per the report, under the guidance and supervision of I.O forester Anil Das of Ampi forest range these dams were constructed in village valleys. Sources said, under the SCATFORM scheme the forest department has provided these income source projects amidst the deprived indigenous communities in backward areas in Ampi. Under the proper support of the concerned forest department the SHG beneficiaries will cultivate fish in these big size model 2 check dams and gain much profit which will generate better financial stability in their families.
According to the departmental official report, to manage like this fishery project the department had already organized project management awareness programme in the range office where all kinds of essential techniques and motivation had been provided to these SHG beneficiaries earlier. To accelerate bumper production SHG beneficiaries were provided loan too. It is expected that if the group members handle this fishery project with concentration and care then a good financial opportunity is waiting for them.
