Sabroom, Tripura, 28th of January, 2025 : A centuries-old Garjan tree, located west of Sabroom bus stand, has become a symbol of faith and trust among the local people. According to the report, once someone tried to cut this tree, but the locals believe that blood flowed from the tree. This story has been passed down from generation to generation. Although its authenticity has not been confirmed, the tree is known as a sacred place among the local people. For many years, this tree has created a place of trust and devotion among the people of the village. Honoring that tradition, Shyama Puja was organized for the first time under this tree on Tuesday. Puja committee informed that all the locals are invited and arrangements have been made to distribute prasad. The local residents have welcomed the initiative with great joy. The Puja Committee has informed that they all participate in this Puja and make this special moment of devotion and tradition more memorable.
