Fatikroy, Tripura, 22nd of May, 2025 : With the initiative of Fisheries Department, Government of Tripura and Fatikroy Panchayat a newly constructed Fish Market Shed and Market Shed inauguration ceremony has been organized at Fatikroy Bazar, under Unakoti district on Thursday (22nd May, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble SC Welfare, ARD, Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das inaugurated by cutting the ribbon.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of Fish Market Shed, Hon’ble SC Welfare, ARD, Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das said that that the State Government is continuously making efforts to increase fish production in the State. He praised the local Panchayat for constructing a fish market shed in Fatikroy market from its own funds.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Chairperson Kumarghat Panchayat Samiti Sumati Das, , Vice Chairman Shankar Deb, BDO Dr. Sudip Bhowmik, Deputy Director of Fisheries, Unakoti, Tarendra Debbarma, Fatikroy Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sumita Datta Kar and many other dignitaries were present in the Inauguration ceremony.
