Ampi, Tripura, 28th of February 2026 : Due to constant garbage heaps existence at the Ompi block entrance locals have expressed great dissatisfaction over the concerned authorities. As per the report, continuous waste water draining from the Hari pur High School hostel and Ompi fire service centre adjacent Ompi block the Teliamura-Amarpur main road Infront of the Ompi block entrance always muddy and dirty with garbage. On the other hand, DWS supply pipe leakage water is flowing along the road here and is increasing more dirty environment for which people going to block and adjacent situated stalls are facing very disturbance throughout the years.

In this dry season about 100 metre distance of the road is full of mud. For the constant movement of vehicles it has turned more risky for the vehicle drivers and passengers. When pedestrians cross the portion they hesitate to walk on this unhygienic road. The road has uncountable holes and potholes where waste water is always standing creating heavy risk for vehicle accident. Local villagers have demanded immediate solution for this road woes. The concerned authorities must investigate the deteriorated situation and take appropriate step to remove this bigger public suffering.
