Agartala, Tripura, 12th of August, 2026 : Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on Tuesday (11th August, 2026) called upon citizens to participate wholeheartedly in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and contribute to the vision of building a developed, confident and self-reliant India by 2047 as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu attended the Har Ghar Tiranga and Tiranga Concert organised by the Office of the District Magistrate and Collector, Sepahijala, in association with the Information and Cultural Affairs Department, at the DM & Collector’s Office premises in Sepahijala this evening.

The Governor said the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cannot be achieved by the government alone. It requires collective effort, dedication and patriotism of every single citizen, the Governor said. He emphasised that the success of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign depends not merely on government or officials but on the active participation of the people of India. He urged everyone to take part in the campaign with full enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The Governor called upon citizens to hoist the National Flag proudly at their homes, workplaces, shops and institutions. He said that the Tiranga should flutter high across Sepahijala district and Tripura, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by millions of Indians who laid down their lives so that the people of the country could live in freedom.
He also urged citizens to visit the official ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ portal, upload their selfies with the National Flag and download their participation certificates. He encouraged everyone to share their participation on social media using the hashtags #HarGharTiranga and #HGT2026, saying that such participation would inspire neighbours, friends and people across the country and the world. “Let the world see that the spirit of India is alive and thriving in every home, every village and every heart,” he said.

The Governor further appealed to people to participate in local events organised as part of the campaign, including community rallies, mass singing programmes and cultural events. He called upon citizens to sing Vande Mataram’ with pride and join the collective voice celebrating the motherland.
Dr. Siddartha Shiv Jaiswal, District Magistrate and Collector, Sepahijala District, delivered the welcome address. Superintendent of Police Bijoy Debbarma was also present at the programme. The event was presided over by Supriya Das Datta, Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala Zilla Parishad. Members of Self-Help Groups, elected representatives of local Panchayats, students and other stakeholders from the district attended the programme. Local artistes of Sepahijala also presented a colourful cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, dances and folk performances, adding to the spirit of patriotism and celebration.
