Governor Of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Visit The BOP Under West Tripura District.

Agartala, Tripura, 5th of March 2025 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Jai and Simna BOP border roads of Mohanpur Subdivision Under West Tripura District on Wednesday (5th March, 2025). During the visit, Governor inspected various development works under central projects in the border areas. The Governor visited the Taranagar BSF camp. There he inspected the accommodation and food facilities of the jawans, drinking water, signal center etc. Interacted with media Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the BSF is playing a very important role in ensuring the security of the country’s borders.

At the Jai BSF camp, the Governor inspected various firearms used by BSF Jawans and was informed about their functionality. Then, the Governor inspected the irrigation project used for agricultural purposes in the Vijaynagar border area.

The Governor interacted with the women of the self-help group at the Ishanpur Gram Panchayat office, with the people of Bhagalpur Gram Panchayat on PM Kisan, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Har Ghar Jal, Jal Jeevan Mission, Women Empowerment Scheme.

Moreover, the Governor exchanged views on various facilities including education, health services in the border areas. Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the Government is doing a lot for the welfare of the people. The government’s goal is to provide the benefits of various projects to the people. In the interaction events, the Governor urged the youth to take education on farming and animal husbandry methods at the Agricultural Science Center and move forward on the path of self-reliance.

During the visit, the Governor was accompanied by West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Bishal Kumar, BSF Tripura Frontier IG AK Sharma, BSF 104th Battalion Commandant NS Jamal, Mohanpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Subhash Datta, senior officers and many others remained present in the inspection.
