Mumbai, Maharashtra, 17th of August, 2026 : A unique blend of sport, culture and fashion came alive as the Pro Govinda League hosted its first-ever grand fashion show to unveil the team jerseys for Season 4. The captains of all 16 teams walked the runway showcasing their respective team jerseys and came together to create the spectacular ‘Pyramid of Unity’, celebrating the spirit of Independence Day through sport and togetherness.
The runway, choreographed by fashion choreographer Wahbiz Mehta, witnessed the captains showcasing their energy and enthusiasm. The franchise owners joined them in team-inspired jackets designed by Rachit Ajmera. Each jersey stood out with elements reflecting the culture, local symbols and regional heritage of its respective city.
PGL Founder and President Purvesh Sarnaiak said, “Every pyramid is a symbol of trust, collaboration and a shared goal. The ‘Pyramid of Unity’ reflects this very spirit and is a meaningful tribute to Independence Day.”
Season 4 will feature 16 franchises and more than 3,000 athletes. The league will be held from August 25 to 27, 2026, at SVP Dome, NSCI, Worli, Mumbai. Cricket star Suryakumar Yadav is the brand ambassador of the league, while all matches will be live-streamed on JioHotstar.
