Agartala, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Saturday (9th August, 2025) night.
According to the sources, along with the RPF, arrested one man drug peddlers from Agartala Railway Station, and seized a total of 10.880 Kg dry cannabis worth ₹ 1.7 lakh. They wanted to take it to other state by train using Agartala railway station. One person namely Rajan Kumar (23), S/O- Sri Bahor Yadav of Sihma, PO- Sihma, PS- Bithan, Dist- Samastipur, state-Bihar has been arrested from Aagartala Railway station with 10.880 Kg Ganja. A specific case has registered at Agt. GRPS vide case no-80/25, U/S- 20(b)(ii)(B)/29 of NDPS Act-1985.
