10 Days Handicrafts Exhibition And Fair Organized By Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture Department Govt. Of Tripura.

Teliamura, 11th of February 2024 : With the initiative of Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture Department, Government of Tripura 10 Days Handicrafts Exhibition and Fair organized at Old Hospital Complex, Teliamura under Khowai District on Sunday (11th February, 2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma has inaugurated Handicrafts Exhibition and Fair by lighting the lamp.

As per the reports, A total of 50 stalls have been opened in this fair. There are 40 other states, 10 stalls States Government and Government undertaking stalls. This exhibition will continue for 10 days till February 20th. There was a lot of response in the entire Teliamura based on this kind of exhibition. The cultural program will continue for ten days.

Inauguration ceremony of Handicrafts Exhibition and Fair, Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma said, such exhibition and sales center will give local artists an opportunity to develop their handicrafts. He wished the fair a success. He also said that such exhibition will be held on a larger scale in the coming days.

Hon’ble Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy also spoke on the occasion. She wished the success of this exhibition. She said that not only the people of Teliamura sub-division or Khowai district but also the people of the state should come to this exhibition. She also hoped to hold such an exhibition in Teliamura in the coming days.

In today’s programme apart from the minister, Teliamura Municipal Chairman Rupak Sarkar, Tarun Debbarma Director of Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture Department and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
