Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates 27th Conference Of Police DGs And IGs Of Northeast On Law & Order.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated the two-day 27th Conference of Police DGs and IGs of Northeast on law & order in the Northeast at Pragna Bhawan, Agartala on Tuesday (22nd November, 2022).

“Illegal drugs are entering the Northeastern States. Drugs are also entering Tripura from different states and countries.Tripura is also continuing its drive against drugs along with all the states of the Northeast”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the Conference of Police DGs and IGs of Northeast on law & order. The Chief Minister also informed that the Northeastern states will take up certain active plans and steps against drugs dealing in the conference.

The Chief Minister said, the Central Government is working for the development of the Northeast under Act East Policy. The Northeastern states are at present jointly working together towards development. Chief Secretary J. K. Sinha, Tripura Police DG Amitabh Ranjan along with Police DGs and IGs of Northeastern states, Central Intellinge Bureau, Narcotics Control Bureau and officials of different levels were present in the conference.
